A Vampire Update
Posted by ChristopherGuest in Job Review with a Vampire, Latest News, Show News on July 16th, 2010
A lot of people have been asking about the series we shot in the fall called Job Review with a Vampire, which is a 6 episode comedy about a vampire navigating office politics. The show is basically done, it just needs a some audio work (sound effects and music) which we will get to as soon as was we can. We have signed on with Mean Dog Howl for the music, check out their tracks.
So when can you all see it? Well that might take some time because its first distribution window will be on broadcast, but don’t worry it will be online eventually. Stay tuned for more details.
Video Community Sites
Posted by GopherX.net in on February 22nd, 2009
We love online video and wanted to promote all the shows we love. We have therefore created a network of niche video communities, where people can watch, post and share their videos. Are you a video content producer trying to get seen? Each site has a way for you to submit your shows via RSS, so they are an easy way to bring more people to your videos. We’ll be adding many more features in the future. Enjoy.

Light at the End of the Team Leader Tunnel
Posted by ScottAlbert in Latest News, Show News, Team Leader on March 27th, 2008
Many, many moons ago, in the before times, there was no such thing as Gopher X. I’ll give you a second to adjust your mental fame. But what there was the idea for a multi-platform comedy series known only as Team Leader.
Scott and Christopher partnered with writer/producer Josh Budd and director/producer Chris Forest shot all 12 episodes in November of 2006. It has taken us up until now to get through the picture and sound editing. We’ll have something to show you coming soon… we’re working on a sneak peek for all of our cast, crew and loyal Gopher X fans.
You can gauge my level of excitement by the fact that as I write this I am not wearing any pants.
Up Coming Projects
Posted by ScottAlbert in Latest News on March 26th, 2008
We’re hard at work on our ’08 slate. First up, a little cartoon we like to call Robot Roommates. Mostly cause that’s what it is called. It’s about two killer robots from space, Steve-tron and Edna 6000, who have come here to enslave all the humans. But they seem to spend all their time watching TV and ducking the rent. (Sound familiar?)
Aaron Sorkin said that Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip was his most autobiographical work. Well… Scott says that Robot Roommates is his. Does that mean you’re a robot, Scott?
We’re working with talented Bryce Hallet (The Red Green Show, History Bites) for the animation to this one. We’re super excited to have Bryce on board with us. We’ve been trying to work with him for awhile now, and Robot Roommates is the project that made it happen.
We hope to go into production on RR (as we call it in our lazy way) by the end of April.

A big hello to our Gopher Army!
This is an exciting time for us. We’ve got a brand website, and while it is still a bit of a work in progress, we’re very happy with it! We hope you like it.
Plus, we’re gearing up to do a new animated series, Robot Roommates, and after that we’re going to dive right into series two of Tights and Fights. We’re calling it Tights and Fights: Ashes, and it focuses on five different super heroes and their (eventual) quest to find Captain Euchre.
And we’re forming a new partnership, one that will definitely take us to the next level. We’ll let you know as soon as we can.

Our Company

Lead, Follow, or get our of our way!
Our focus is on comedy series that can be seen online, on TV and on your cellphone. We’re still a new company, but that’s okay because multi-platform series are still pretty new, too.
There are two things we do better than anybody else. We design and produce videos that fill the niche between user generated content and high budget, studio productions – and make ‘em funny, too. And we “promote” these videos online in ways that you haven’t even thought of. That means we’re experts in building, and growing, online fan based communities by leveraging social networking websites like YouTube and Facebook.
What we do transcends simple ‘webisodes,’ ‘mobisodes’ or traditional TV broadcast episodes. We long ago stopping thinking of those as separate, unique things. That’s why we call what do just plain sodes.
At its heart, Gopher X is a partnership between Christopher Guest and Scott Albert.
