In 2010 GopherX was selected among the first group to be funded through the Independent Production Fund‘s web drama series pilot program. With this opportunity, Tights and Fights: Ashes, a transmedia superhero comedy, was given the budget required to take it from page to screen and beyond. And so, we embarked on producing the massive 180-episode series complete with an immersive website, additional content, and transmedia storytelling elements to increase user engagement and provide our fans with a rich virtual experience sharing the lives of our superhero characters.
Since then, GopherX has become highly active in the local webseries creator community, and frequently meet other like-minded people with great ideas, seeking the experience we’ve gained to help breathe life into their projects.
